DESCRIPTION
Abemaciclib is an oral medication classified as a cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2−) breast cancer. It helps slow cancer cell growth by inhibiting CDK4 and CDK6, proteins that drive cell cycle progression.
