Orowash is a combination of three medicines. It is used to treat infection of mouth or gums. This mouthwash has antimicrobial action on the infection-causing bacteria. It also prevents the teeth from getting cavities and makes them stronger. Orowash should be used as per directed by your doctor. Do not use more than the recommended doses of this medicine. After taking a measured amount of this medicine in the mouth, rinse it thoroughly so that it reaches every corner of the mouth. Spit it out after rinsing and remember not to swallow it. This medicine is a safe medicine and usually does not cause any side effects. However, long-term use of this medicine may cause staining of the teeth.

Orowash is a combination of three medicines: Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Sodium Fluoride and Zinc Chloride. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks and gums. This kills the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, ulcers and other mouth infections. Sodium Fluoride works by making the teeth stronger and preventing decay (cavity) caused by bacteria. Zinc Chloride has antiseptic and astringent action.

IF MISS
If you miss a dose of Orowash, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
