DESCRIPTION
Apetamin Syrup belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used in the treatment of various allergic conditions. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Unless Apetamin Syrup is used to lower the prolactin levels in the mother, it should be avoided as it might interfere with breastfeeding. – Driving : UNSAFE – Apetamin Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Apetamin Syrup may cause dizziness, sedation, and hypotension in elderly patients. This may affect your ability to drive. – Kidney : CAUTION – Apetamin Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Apetamin Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor. – Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR – There is limited information available on the use of Apetamin Syrup in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
IF MISS
If you miss a dose of Apetamin Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
