DESCRIPTION
Alzil-M 5 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat Alzheimer’s disease. It helps to slow down the progression of moderate to severe Alzheimer’s by improving memory and thinking. Alzil-M 5 Tablet can be taken with or without food, but you may take it with food to avoid a stomach upset. It will make it easier for you to carry out your daily activities and improve your quality of life. Do not stop taking it unless advised by the doctor. It can take several weeks for your symptoms to improve; so keep using the medicine even if you do not think it is working.

Alzil-M 5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Donepezil and Memantine which treat Alzheimer’s disease. Donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor while Memantine is an NMDA inhibitor. Together, they balance the levels of chemical messengers in the brain and help in the transmission of nerve signals.

IF MISS
If you miss a dose of Alzil-M 5 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
