DESCRIPTION

Bharglob 16.5% Injection is used to strengthen the body’s natural immune system to lower the risk of infection in persons with weakened immune system. It is made from healthy human blood that has a high level of certain defensive substances (antibodies), which help fight infections. Bharglob 16.5% Injection has been shown to be effective in preventing infections in bone marrow transplant patients more than 20 years of age in the first 100 days post-transplant. It is used in the treatment of patients where antibody-forming capacity is severely impaired thereby subjecting them to a greater risk of infections. Bharglob 16.5% Injection gives you antibodies that your body is not making on its own so you can fight infections. Both children and adults can have this therapy. It is administered as an injection. Your doctor will monitor you for some time after the administration of Bharglob 16.5% Injection to check for any side effects. Bharglob 16.5% Injection may sometimes cause side effects like back pain, chills, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), dizziness, headache, nausea, decreased blood pressure, and muscle pain. If you get any of these, or other side effects, or just feel unwell, you should tell your doctor. There may be ways of preventing or reducing these effects. Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you have any problems with blood clotting and if you have recently had, or plan to have, a vaccination. It is not known whether this medicine is completely safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding so please take advice from your doctor.

It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.

You may experience side effects (for example dizziness or nausea) during Bharglob 16.5% Injection that might affect the ability to drive. – Kidney : CAUTION – Bharglob 16.5% Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bharglob 16.5% Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. – Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED – Bharglob 16.5% Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Bharglob 16.5% Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Additionally, patients who are overweight, over 65 years of age and who are using medicines that can cause kidney damage are also at risk of developing kidney failure. Also, Bharglob 16.5% Injection which has sucrose, fructose or maltose as an ingredient in it is more likely to cause kidney damage.| Q. Does Bharglob 16.5% Injection cause hair loss?::: No, Bharglob 16.5% Injection does not cause hair loss. If you experience hair loss, it might be due to some other underlying problem.
